BLACK SAGE Black Sage was born in Trinidad where food is seen as medicinal and peppers have a long history of use for flavoring, healing and spiritual purposes. There has been a resurgnce of interest in peppers in the United States. The charge is being lead by Black Sage, who named this trend "The Hot Sauce Revolution." Black Sage is also a gifted musician/composer who as played with Keith Richards, Mighty Sparrow and Grover Washington Jr. He is currently composing a epic work. We caught up with Black Sage, the Pepper Guru, to get his thoughts on this revolution. AllHip: What is the purpose of the hot sauce revolution?
